This is another piece from that same day in my Life Drawing class - the day we projected slides onto our models.
The slide was a photo portrait of this very regal, ruffled, baroque, make-up-y lady. Distorted on the model's skin it sort of looked like Prince. As I was drawing I felt it was kind of emo for our male model to be sort of looking down and sad with this pretty face projected over his heart. - Don't you think that would be an awesome 90's emo music video treatment? For like a Saves the Day track or something? Anywhoodles. Oil Pastel on drawing paper. Enjoy. |
